Selsia grows across all sectors

Selsia’s direct business model is proving to be a cost effective solution for the network’s growing list of work provider customers, across a diverse range of operating sectors.

More new clients are signing up with Selsia from a diverse range of industries. These include water utilities, property security, construction, civil engineering, highway maintenance, leasing, grey fleet, contract hire, food distribution, haulage and government departments. All types of incidents on cars, LCVs, HGVs and speciality vehicles are being processed through Selsia’s call centre and Claims Plus system. Selsia’s single point of contact solution, where clients deal directly with a network of professional bodyshops is proving to be a solid and effective strategy. Not only is this saving fleets considerable amounts of money in repair costs, but a clear understanding of each fleet’s particular requirements can be communicated directly to the Selsia repairers. For example, because Selsia’s HGV repairers have invested heavily in correct equipment and training as well as being extremely resourceful, such as in the use of green parts, they are often able to repair rather than write off expensive commercial vehicles. This can save thousands of pounds as well as help to minimises loss of use for Selsia’s growing client base.

Commenting on Selsia’s rapid rise, marketing director, Neil Marcus commented “Selsia has only been operating two years but in this time, we are very pleased with what we have achieved. We have built a network of 75 quality repairers, as well as the infrastructure to support our work provider customers. This has included setting up our 24 hour call centre, FNOL procedures, our web based IT platform and central administration for our clients and we are now pleased to be managing several thousand different types vehicles on our clients’ behalf. A true bodyshop network is one which is able to deliver a complete end to end service for its work provider customers and we are certainly delivering on this”.
