Ian Stewart joins Selsia

Ian Stewart has joined Selsia Vehicle Accident Centres as an Insurance Consultant, with particular focus on developing Selsia’s unique and cost effective direct model with the Insurance sector.

Having spent twenty years learning the bodyshop business gaining management experience with Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz, Ian changed horses to join the Insurance Industry. He’s spent almost as long again, managing motor claims expenditure for Corinthian Policies at Lloyds, latterly HSBC Insurance (UK). In 1994 he introduced the first UK repairer network to be self-authorised using digital imaging technology. His most recent experience was the setting-up of Service Certainty’s national network of Photographers to obtain claims evidence for Insurers.
 
Commenting on his appointment, Ian said “This industry is crying out for a new, simpler and cost effective repair work flow and supply chain model. Selsia has a unique ethical proposition in the repair management arena. If I was looking for repairers in the UK, Selsia would be my first stop. Their low-cost, direct management model and network of high-quality repairers will ensure their success. I’m really looking forward to helping to develop the business proposition for Selsia and the repairers.”
