Selsia launches SameDay QuickQuote service

Leading bodyshop network, Selsia Vehicle Accident Centres has launched an online quick quote facility for its SameDay® fixed price repair service.

Accessed through the SameDay® button on as well as direct links from Selsia repairers’ own web sites, customers wanting a one day repair service at a fixed price will be taken through three simple steps to receive their online repair quote. Step one: contact and vehicle, step two: “point and click” on the damaged areas, utilising a plan view diagram of different vehicle builds and step three: a quote is sent to the customer and the nearest Selsia repairer by email, to their PC or mobile phone. The customer will be informed of an estimated price, as well as their nearest Selsia SameDay® repairer, who will get in touch to arrange a full inspection of the vehicle. If the VDA considers the damage too severe to go through the SameDay® fast track process, the customer will be booked into the main stream body repair facility. The customer’s safety is always the priority.

The SameDay® online “QuickQuote” service is ideal for all types of customers, including fleets, private motorists, dealerships, insurers and brokers who need an instant estimate for light accident and cosmetic vehicle damage. Insurers using the Selsia network could simply direct their customers to the SameDay® QuickQuote service for a quotation which could fall below an insurance excess and could avoid making a claim on their insurer.

Commenting on the service, Selsia marketing director, Neil Marcus stated “this new marketing initiative will generate sales leads for our Selsia repairers where the customer will already be price conditioned with a fixed menu price. It makes the job of following up estimates that much easier for our repairers. Our current work providers are already benefiting from using this system where key to key times and budgeting control are very important.
