Vans, the way forward for repairers
Return to news28th November 2014
A significant amount of steered work at Selsia Vehicle Accident Centres is CDV and LCV van repairs. Therefore, according to Neil Marcus, marketing director at the company, van repairs are ‘an important way forward for bodyshops’.
Speaking to bodyshop, Neil explained, ‘with the growth of online shopping, more vans are being used for home deliveries and van mileage is set to escalate over the coming years. With so much focus on deadlines, it’s important to turn repairs around as quickly as possible.’ He continued, ‘Often we find car vehicle repairers are extremely good at repairing light commercials, such as Sprinter vans, as their work is focused on turning repairs round as quick as possible, particularly as many bodyshops don’t have the storage to hold a vast number of vans on site.’
Established six years ago, Selsia currently runs a centrally managed accident repair network of over 90 car and commercial bodyshops across the country.
