Selsia CV repairer, Perrys of Gobowen has won the prestigious Bodyshop Magazine CV Bodyshop of the Year Award for 2012.
Established in 1962, there was no better way to celebrate their 50th anniversary than to win this closely contested and coveted industry award for the third time. With the investment put into the business as well as a highly experienced team of technicians and customer support personnel, the award, presented by Olympic medallist and world champion hurdler, Colin Jackson, was richly deserved.
Operating from a 2 acre site in Oswestry and a Renault Truck Approved Commercial Accident Repair and Service Centre, Perrys has made significant investment over the years in the very latest CV repair equipment. This has included chassis and cab jigs, wheel alignment, welders and spraybooths to ensure they always deliver the most efficient repairs to any size of commercial vehicle. The company’s services have always been developed with their customers’ needs in mind. A repair over replace philosophy as well as close attention to cycle times to minimise vehicle off road times means consistently economical repairs for their fleet customers, ultimate customer loyalty and satisfaction. Furthermore, investment in wheel alignment equipment ensures that their customers’ costs for tyre wear and fuel consumption is kept to an absolute minimum.
Commenting on the award, Perrys managing director, Glyn Heathcock said “to win this award for the third time is testimony to a great team I have around me. It’s great to see that our investments in the very latest commercial vehicle repair technology as well as investing in the very best technicians and customer support staff has been recognised by the repair industry”.
