Selsia and TIDAL in strategic partnership
Return to news16th January 2020
Selsia and TIDAL have entered into a joint strategic partnership which will see significant benefits for Selsia approved repairers, insurers and fleets.
TIDAL is fast becoming the refinish industry’s preferred independent distributor network and they’re shaking up the market with a fresh, exciting distribution alliance which helps forge partnerships between bodyshops, suppliers, and third parties including insurers, brokers and fleet operators. The appointment of Selsia and its award winning centrally managed accident repair services now gives TIDAL an advantage in the market which will significantly benefit the joint partnership’s clients.
The group also enjoys exclusive distribution rights for the free to choose, highly profitable baslac range of products from BASF and will be particularly beneficial to the approved Selsia car repairers where increased profitability on paint & materials will be realised.
Selsia centrally manages accident repairs with its national network of approved repairers. The service includes nationally implemented SLAs, 24/7 assistance, nationwide recovery, repair deployments, accident and end of lease repairs, windscreen repair and replacement, ADAS calibration, mobile repairs, progress chasing, central invoicing and online repair management.
In a joint statement from Neil Marcus, Selsia’s Marketing Director and Paul Blunt, TIDAL Director, they said:
“This partnership will be of significant benefit to our mutual customers as we can now offer a professional, conjoined approach for insurers, brokers, fleets, fleet management companies and vehicle manufacturers. As well as using efficient, high quality refinishing products in our approved repairer network, backed up with excellent distribution support services, we will reduce vehicle downtime, control costs and virtually eliminate accident administration for our clients. This will be delivered by the UK’s leading centrally managed accident repair service and we’re looking forward to delivering outstanding support for our mutual clients.”
