Selsia leads the way with SameDay® fixed price repairs
Return to news9th September 2010
Leading accident repair network, Selsia Vehicle Accident Centres is reducing key to key times with the launch of SameDay®, its menu priced one day accident repair service.
Minor repairs now account for over 35% of all accident damage so the Selsia network has responded with a one day fast turnaround accident repair service for non structural, light accident and cosmetic repairs. Utilising a fixed price menu, insurers, fleets, dealerships and the retail public will all benefit from this efficient and cost effective service. Selsia’s IMI approved state of the art technology centre in Milton Keynes, where the Network’s repairers receive quick repair and fast track process training, is integral to the SameDay®programme in ensuring service levels are delivered consistently, nationwide.
SameDay® works on a process of triaging accident damaged vehicles to determine whether or not they fall into the Selsia fast track accident repair process. If a vehicle damage assessor considers that the repair falls outside the SameDay® service or is of a more structural nature, then the customer will be booked in for the repair in the normal way. Customer safety is Selsia’s number one priority so if a repair cannot be turned around in one day, then this will be clearly explained to the customer.
Another feature of the SameDay® service is the availability of replacement vehicles for customers at £9.99 a day which ensures customers can be kept mobile throughout the repair. In the unlikely event that the repair cannot be completed in the one day, then the customer can keep the replacement car, free of charge for another day. Selsia SameDay® comes with a full range of point of sale and web based marketing support for its members.
Neil Marcus, director of Selsia commented, “We are going to be at the forefront of a changing market where traditional bodyshop working practices will be challenged. SameDay® will appeal to all of our customers, be they insurers, fleets, leasing companies, dealerships or the general public. Maximum customer satisfaction, mimimum inconvenience, fast key to key times and lower repair costs are being demanded and we will ensure that our network will be delivering on this time and again”.
